Atmospheric website, brand identity, and handcrafted menu design for an upscale Milan restaurant

NOVA33 is an upscale Italian restaurant in Milan with a serious kitchen and a loyal local following — but a digital and physical presence that didn't reflect either. The project delivered a full brand identity, an atmospheric dark-theme website with online booking and a private events section, and a handcrafted seasonal menu printed to match the restaurant's ambiance.

The challenge

What we were solving

NOVA33's food and atmosphere were exceptional, but the visual brand was inconsistent and the website failed to communicate the restaurant's quality. There was no way to book online, no page for private events, and the physical menu looked out of place next to the quality of the cuisine. First impressions — both online and on the table — weren't converting curious visitors into reservations.

Our approach

How we solved it

We built a full visual identity from scratch — wordmark, colour palette, and typographic system — then applied it across every touchpoint. The website centres the dining experience: dark and atmospheric hero imagery, a structured menu page, a wine list section, an online reservation system, and a dedicated private events page for corporate and celebration bookings. The physical menu follows the same visual language: leather-bound, multi-page, with dark paper and gold typography across Antipasti, Primi, Secondi, Dolci, and a curated wine list. Branded table cards and custom matches complete the in-restaurant experience.
